The THSCA Convention & Coaching School is THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE ATHLETICS CONFERENCE in the state of Texas. This three-day annual conference offers a wide range of education sessions on both boys and girls sports, athletic administration, as well as health and safety topics, multiple networking opportunities, rules meetings, an on-site job room, an awards banquet, and an astounding array of exhibits. On average the THSCA Convention draws an attendance of over 13,000 coaches, athletic administrators and exhibitors.

Since 1948 TBA has served the needs of band directors across Texas. We continue this mission in July by providing you with the most up-to-date information and teaching strategies from across the state and the nation to help guide you and help your students succeed in this new environment.
The 2020 Virtual Convention will include over 40 clinics for high school, middle school and beginner teaching; nationally known guest artists and composers; the latest information from our state associations; and even live performances for some much-needed inspiration. In this virtual format we are still able to offer the Student Leadership Day (Saturday, July 18), Academy for New Directors (Sunday, July 19) and Booster Club Training (Saturday, July 25).
As always you can earn professional development credit for attending the convention. Plus, you can watch all the sessions you missed at a later date and earn credit for those as well.

This year, 8,000 people who are passionate about parks and recreation, conservation, health, landscape architecture, city planning and making communities great places to live will converge for energetic networking activities, inspirational education sessions and an inside look at the latest products for the field at the NRPA Annual Conference.
